As the silence was broken by the laughter of the werepup, I quickly got to my feet and –being the gentleman that I am- instantly stretched out my hand and offered my assistance, helping her to her feet as she still rubbed her head. After which I gently picked up the laughing pup by its collar from which it began to use the ‘cute and innocent puppy dog face’.
“Sorry little fella, that isn’t going to work.” I stared dead at it, still trying to hide my embarrassed red face from her. “Now then, you know the rules about –“ I got cut off by the sounds of the girl’s voice.
“Aw!” she chuckled, walking over and scratched it behind its ears; to which its tail began to wag excitedly.

I quickly changed the subject, coughing before I spoke, “I am deeply sorry about this Ms. It won’t happen again.”

“Oh nonsense, it was just playing.” She replied smiling as she gently took the pup from my hand and put it on the ground. “Now run along back to your family.” She said smiling.
The pup looked at her, still wagging its tail, soon scampered off out to the hallway. I watched as it left then turned toward the smiling girl as she looked back up to me to reply.

“I have a lot of siblings, so I’m used to how they act. It comes with being older.” She smiled.

“Well then,” I started “Once again I am very sorry Ms, Wayne’s kids can get really routy.”

Chuckling she said, “Its alright really and please call me Skull.”

“Skull?”

“Its short for Skullette, but no need to be so formal.” Smiling cutely.

I stare at her trying not to blush, she had been smiling this entire time and she looked quite pretty; plus she told me her name, which fit perfectly.

“So will I know your name?”

I shake my head trying to refocus, “My name? . . . Oh! My name, Its Marcus. You can call me Mark.” I said feeling stupid.

“Well nice to meet you Mark.”

“S-Same.” I stuttered.

After exchanging names, I gathered my clipboard and began to head out.

“Maybe I’ll see you at dinner?” I asked before leaving.

“Maybe.” She replied happily.

“Y-Yeah. C-Cool.” I turned and began making my way to the door.

On my way out with my peripheral vision looking into the mirror on the wall I could see her starting to open as window, but there was something else that caught my eye. I swore I could make out her stretching out a pair of pure white wings (almost dragon like) that matched her hair and a tail that came with them. Closing the door behind me, I thought to myself for a few moments before leading back down to finish checking on the other guests while uttering a quick “You owe me.” To the shrunken head who shook around for minute while looking away from me, a little peeved.
